THE BUGS BUNNY & TWEETY SHOW
Written by Kevin McCorry
MEMORABLE EPISODES OF THE BUGS BUNNY & TWEETY SHOW

"Hare-Less Wolf" with Bugs Bunny and Charles M. Wolf
Clip from "Goldimouse and the Three Cats" with Sylvester, Sylvester Jr., and Goldimouse
"Hyde and Go Tweet" with Tweety and Sylvester
Notes: "Hyde and Go Tweet" and "Sandy Claws" ran in consecutive episodes of the 1968-9 season of The Bugs Bunny/Road
Runner Hour. "Hare-Less Wolf" and "Hyde and Go Tweet" both contain a threat to bust down a door. "Knighty Knight Bugs",
"Hyde and Go Tweet", and "Sandy Claws" all aired together in another episode two years later, on Sept. 24, 1988.
Season 1, Show # 2 (Sept. 20, 1986)
"The Abominable Snow Rabbit" with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the Abominable Snowman
"Hawaiian Aye Aye" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
"Bugs Bonnets" with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd
"Home Tweet Home" with Tweety and Sylvester
Notes: "Hawaiian Aye Aye" and "Home Tweet Home" ran in consecutive episodes of the 1968-9 season of The Bugs Bunny/Road
Runner Hour. Balmy, vacation settings are used for the ending of "The Abominable Snow Rabbit" (Palm Springs) and for all
of "Hawaiian Aye Aye" (Hawaii).
Season 1, Show # 3 (Sept. 27, 1986)
"Beanstalk Bunny" with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd
"Tweet and Lovely" with Tweety and Sylvester
"For Scent-imental Reasons" with Pepe Le Pew
"Hare Trimmed" with Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, and Granny
Note: This was the first episode to feature a cartoon starring neither Bugs nor Tweety.
Season 1, Show # 14 (Dec. 13, 1986)
"Bewitched Bunny" with Bugs Bunny and Witch Hazel
"A Sheep in the Deep" with Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog
"Dr. Jerkyl's Hide" with Sylvester, Spike, and Chester
"Shiskabugs" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
Notes: This was the first episode not to feature a cartoon with Tweety. Cockney is spoken by the canines in "Dr. Jerkyl's
Hide" and by Bugs at the close of "Shiskabugs".
Season 1, Show # 15 (Dec. 20, 1986)
"Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol" with Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Porky Pig, Tweety, Sylvester, Pepe Le Pew, Elmer Fudd, and
Foghorn Leghorn
"Gift Wrapped" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
"Portrait of the Artist as a Young Bunny" with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd
Notes: This was undeniably the Christmas show, with "Portrait of the Artist as a Young Bunny" included because it was
long enough to fill the remaining airtime after the 8-minute-long "Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol" and the more-than-6-
minutes-long "Gift Wrapped. This was also one of the few half-hour installments to contain only three cartoons.
Season 1, Show # 20 (Jan. 31, 1987)
"Hare Trimmed" with Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, and Granny
"Trick or Tweet" with Tweety and Sylvester
"Hoppy Daze" with Sylvester and Hippety Hopper
"Tweet, Tweet, Tweety" with Tweety and Sylvester
Notes: "Hare Trimmed" and "Hoppy Daze" had already been shown earlier in this season. In this episode, Tweety was in more
cartoons than Bugs.
Season 2, Show # 1 (Sept. 12, 1987)
"Beanstalk Bunny" with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd
"Big House Bunny" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"Hoppy Daze" with Sylvester and Hippety Hopper
"A Bird in a Bonnet" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
Notes: Tweety cartoons were usually shown last in every episode from this point until Sept., 1992. "Big House Bunny" was
the most frequently shown cartoon in this season. "Hoppy Daze" and "A Bird in a Bonnet" were in the same episode of the
1968-9 Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour.
Season 2, Show # 3 (Sept. 26, 1987)
"Shiskabugs" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"Mother Was a Rooster" with Foghorn Leghorn
"A Bird in a Guilty Cage" with Tweety and Sylvester
"Don't Give Up the Sheep" with Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog
Note: This was the only episode in the 1987-8 season not to end with a Tweety cartoon.
Season 2, Show # 4 (Oct. 3, 1987)
"This is a Life?" with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, and Granny
"Hare-Abian Nights" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"Person to Bunny" with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd
"Trip For Tat" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
Notes: Bugs recounts some of his past experiences in "This is a Life?" and "Hare-Abian Nights", and "This is a Life?" and
"Person to Bunny" involve television shows that focus on Bugs.
Season 2, Show # 5 (Oct. 10, 1987)
"Hare Trimmed" with Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, and Granny
"Hoppy Daze" with Sylvester and Hippety Hopper
"Pre-Hysterical Hare" with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd
"A Bird in a Bonnet" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
Note: Both "Hoppy Daze" and "A Bird in a Bonnet" had been shown just 4 weeks earlier.
Season 2, Show # 8 (Oct. 31, 1987)
"Devil's Feud Cake" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"Corn On the Cop" with Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and Granny
Clip from "Bad Ol' Putty Tat" with Tweety and Sylvester
"Satan's Waitin'" with Tweety and Sylvester
Note: This was evidently the Halloween show, with the devil figuring in two cartoons, and Granny buying candy for trick-
or-treaters in the other. This was also one of the rare half-hour episodes with only three cartoons.
Season 2, Show # 10 (Nov. 14, 1987)
"Wideo Wabbit" with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd
"For Scent-imental Reasons" with Pepe Le Pew
"Freudy Cat" with Sylvester, Sylvester Jr., and Hippety Hopper
"A Street Cat Named Sylvester" with Tweety, Sylvester, Granny, and Hector Bulldog
Note: "Wideo Wabbit" never appeared again on Bugs & Tweety, probably because of its reference to wife-beating.
Season 2, Show # 18 (Jan. 9, 1988)
"The Abominable Snow Rabbit" with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the Abominable Snowman
"Dog Gone People" with Elmer Fudd and Rupert Dog
"Hare-Less Wolf" with Bugs Bunny and Charles M. Wolf
Clip from "The Last Hungry Cat" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
"Hyde and Go Tweet" with Tweety and Sylvester
Note: "Hare-Less Wolf" and "Hyde and Go Tweet" aired together in the very first episode of Bugs & Tweety, on Sept. 13,
1986.
Season 2, Show # 19 (Jan. 16, 1988)
"Mutiny On the Bunny" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"Portrait of the Artist as a Young Bunny" with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd
"Ain't She Tweet" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
Note: This was another rare instance of the 3-cartoon half-hour installment.
Season 2, Show # 20 (Jan. 23, 1988)
"Shiskabugs" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"High Diving Hare" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"Zip N' Snort" with Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote
"Catty Cornered" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Rocky
Note: "Zip N' Snort" was the first Road Runner cartoon to be shown on Bugs & Tweety.
Season 2, Show # 21 (Jan. 30, 1988)
"Long-Haired Hare" with Bugs Bunny and Giovanni Jones
"D' Fightin' Ones" with Sylvester and Bulldog
"Lickety-Splat!" with Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote
"Tweety's S.O.S." with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
Note: The Bugs & Tweety Show moved from 12:30 to 12 o'clock (Atlantic Time) on this week.
Season 2, Show # 22 (Feb. 6, 1988)
"Mad as a Mars Hare" with Bugs Bunny and Marvin Martian
"A Sheep in the Deep" with Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog
"Ready, Set, Zoom!" with Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote
"Canary Row" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
Note: "A Sheep in the Deep" and "Canary Row" both feature a gag involving a character swallowing a bowling ball.
Season 2, Show # 23 (Feb. 13, 1988)
"Mississippi Hare" with Bugs Bunny and Colonel Shuffle
"For Scent-imental Reasons" with Pepe Le Pew
"Hopalong Casualty" with Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote
"Fowl Weather" with Tweety, Sylvester, Granny, and Hector Bulldog
Note: Romance based on mistaken identity occurs in "For Scent-imental Reasons" and "Fowl Weather".
Season 2, Show # 24 (Feb. 20, 1988)
"Piker's Peak" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"No Parking Hare" with Bugs Bunny and the Construction Worker
"Whoa Be-Gone!" with Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote
"Dog Pounded" with Tweety and Sylvester
Note: In one gag in "Dog Pounded", the dogs shown underground are wearing hard-hats; so, this cartoon shares a
construction worker motif with "No Parking Hare".
Season 2, Show # 26 (Mar. 5, 1988)
"Spaced-Out Bunny" with Bugs Bunny, Marvin Martian, and the Abominable Snowman
"Bonanza Bunny" with Bugs Bunny and Blacque Jacque Shellacque
"Going! Going! Gosh!" with Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote
"Hawaiian Aye Aye" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
Note: "Bonanza Bunny" and "Hawaiian Aye Aye" had already been shown in this season.
Season 2, Show # 27 (Mar. 12, 1988)
"Duck! Rabbit! Duck!" with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd
"A Scent of the Matterhorn" with Pepe Le Pew
"War and Pieces" with Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote
"A Street Cat Named Sylvester" with Tweety, Sylvester, Granny, and Hector Bulldog
Note: "War and Pieces" and "A Street Cat Named Sylvester" were in the same episode of the 1968-9 Bugs Bunny/Road Runner
Hour.
Season 2, Show # 28 (Mar. 19, 1988)
"Dr. Devil and Mr. Hare" with Bugs Bunny and Tasmanian Devil
"Claws in the Lease" with Sylvester and Sylvester Jr.
"Mouse-Taken Identity" with Sylvester, Sylvester Jr., and Hippety Hopper
"Tweet, Tweet, Tweety" with Tweety and Sylvester
Note: This was clearly Sylvester's show, in that he appeared in 3 of the 4 cartoons.
Season 2, Show # 34 (Apr. 30, 1988)
"Half Fare Hare" with Bugs Bunny, Ralph Cramden, and Ed Norton
"Stupor Duck" with Daffy Duck
"Big House Bunny" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"The Jet Cage" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
Notes: "Half Fare Hare" and "Stupor Duck" share a train motif, and flight is a theme in "Stupor Duck" and "The Jet Cage".
Season 3, Show # 7 (Oct. 22, 1988)
PART ONE
"Beanstalk Bunny" with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd
"The Fair-Haired Hare" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"A Bird in a Bonnet" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
PART TWO
"High Diving Hare" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"Bugs Bonnets" with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd
"No Parking Hare" with Bugs Bunny and the Construction Worker
"Hare-Less Wolf" with Bugs Bunny and Charles M. Wolf
"Trick or Tweet" with Tweety and Sylvester
Notes: Bugs starred in 6 of the 8 cartoons in this episode. Truly a record! Property rights are disputed in "Beanstalk
Bunny", "The Fair-Haired Hare", and "No Parking Hare". In "The Fair-Haired Hare", Sam is blasted into the sky with his
homestead. This is similar to the effect of the rapidly growing beanstalk in "Beanstalk Bunny" on Bugs' bed. The absent-
minded wolf in "Hare-Less Wolf" and Sylvester's rival, Sam, in "Trick or Tweet" have a similar, slow-witted nature. A
plank is involved in "High Diving Hare", in which Sam orders Bugs at gunpoint to dive off of one, and the wolf in "Hare-
Less Wolf" falls off of a plank after Bugs entices him to break down a door attached to the plank.

"My Bunny Lies Over the Sea" with Bugs Bunny and Angus McCrory
"The Abominable Snow Rabbit" with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the Abominable Snowman
"Mouse Wreckers" with Claude Cat, Hubie, and Bertie

PART TWO
"Pop 'im Pop!" with Sylvester, Sylvester Jr., and Hippety Hopper
"I Gopher You" with the Goofy Gophers
"Shiskabugs" with Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
"Tweet, Tweet, Tweety" with Tweety and Sylvester
Notes: "My Bunny Lies Over the Sea", "I Gopher You", and "Tweet, Tweet, Tweety" were in the same episode of the 1968-9
Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour. "My Bunny Lies Over the Sea" appears for the second of three times in this season's 26 shows.
Season 6, Show # 1 (Sept. 7, 1991)
PART ONE
"Lumber Jack-Rabbit" with Bugs Bunny and Paul Bunyan's Dog
"Rabbit Hood" with Bugs Bunny and the Sheriff of Nottingham
"Ready, Woolen, and Able" with Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog
"Bunny Hugged" with Bugs Bunny and the Crusher
PART TWO
"Hare Trimmed" with Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, and Granny
"Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2th Century" with Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and Marvin Martian
"Sandy Claws" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
Notes: The first two cartoons both featured Bugs. This was an oddity in that it happened in no other episodes aired in the
1990-1, 1991-2, 1992-3, and 1993-4 seasons. A repeat of Show 26 from the previous season (1990-1) aired a week before this
episode, and it contained "Tweety and the Beanstalk". The beanstalk story shares a giant land motif with Paul Bunyan
country in this episode's "Lumber Jack-Rabbit".
Season 6, Show # 2 (Sept. 14, 1991)
PART ONE
"Hare-Less Wolf" with Bugs Bunny and Charles M. Wolf
"Feed the Kitty" with Marc Antony and Pussyfoot
"Rabbitson Crusoe" with Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, and Dopey Dick
"Two Scents Worth" with Pepe Le Pew
PART TWO
"Beanstalk Bunny" with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd
"Pizzicato Pussycat" with the Piano-Playing Mouse
"Home Tweet Home" with Tweety and Sylvester
Notes: The Chopin piano piece in "Pizzicato Pussycat", the park setting in "Home Tweet Home", the pet adoption in "Feed
the Kitty", and references to timidity in "Two Scents Worth" all foreshadow the airing of "Hyde and Hare", which contains
all these elements, a week later in this season's Show 3. "Beanstalk Bunny" and "Lumber Jack-Rabbit", which had been shown
a week earlier in this season's Show 1, share a giant land motif. The bird's nest and phoney girl bird decoy used by
Sylvester in "Home Tweet Home" was used again in "Bad Ol' Putty Tat" a week later.
Season 6, Show # 3 (Sept. 21, 1991)
PART ONE
"Hare Do" with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd
"Bad Ol' Putty Tat" with Tweety and Sylvester
"Hyde and Hare" with Bugs Bunny and Dr. Jekyll
"Feather Bluster" with Foghorn Leghorn
PART TWO
"8 Ball Bunny" with Bugs Bunny and the Penguin
"Drip-Along Daffy" with Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and Nasty Canasta
"Trick or Tweet" with Tweety and Sylvester
Notes: Tweety does an imitation of his ravenous pursuer, Sylvester, in "Bad Ol' Putty Tat", and Bugs does a similar
imitation of Hyde for Jekyll in "Hyde and Hare". Jekyll is a doctor, and in "Feather Bluster", Foghorn's grandson
suggests playing doctor to the barnyard dog's grandpup. Noxious drinks are consumed in "Hyde and Hare" and "Drip-Along
Daffy". Barbed wire is used by Tweety to defend his birdhouse against Sylvester in "Bad Ol' Putty Tat", and he uses it
again to keep Sylvester and Sam from climbing a pole to reach his nest in "Trick or Tweet".
Season 6, Show # 4 (Sept. 28, 1991)
PART ONE
"Foxy By Proxy" with Bugs Bunny and the Dopey Hunting Dog
"Steal Wool" with Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog

"A Mouse Divided" with Sylvester and the Drunken Stork
PART TWO
"Wild Over You" with Pepe Le Pew
"Big Top Bunny" with Bugs Bunny and Bruno the Bear
"Room and Bird" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
Notes: The painting-a-tongue-green gag from the previous week's "Feather Bluster" recurred in this episode's "Dr. Devil
and Mr. Hare". Jekyll and Hyde is alluded to in the title of "Dr. Devil and Mr. Hare", which was quite apt because this
episode followed one with "Hyde and Hare". A telephone is used in "Big Top Bunny" and "Room and Bird". "Big Top Bunny"
involves a circus, and "Wild Over You" occurs in a zoological exhibition.
Season 6, Show # 23 (Feb. 15, 1992)
PART ONE
"Bugs Bonnets" with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd
"The Unexpected Pest" with Sylvester
"Wet Hare" with Bugs Bunny and Blacque Jacque Shellacque

"Half Fare Hare" with Bugs Bunny, Ralph Cramden, and Ed Norton
"The Jet Cage" with Tweety, Sylvester, and Granny
Notes: "Bugs Bonnets" and "The Unexpected Pest" were in the same episode on Dec. 29, 1990. A soldier motif is shared by
"Bugs Bonnets" and "Plop Goes the Weasel".
Season 8, Show # 12 (May 21, 1994)
PART ONE
"Baton Bunny" with Bugs Bunny and the Bothersome Fly
"Pizzicato Pussycat" with the Piano-Playing Mouse
"Hyde and Hare" with Bugs Bunny and Dr. Jekyll
"Tweet Dreams" with Tweety and Sylvester
PART TWO
"Napoleon Bunny-Part" with Bugs Bunny and Napoleon
"Zip N' Snort" with Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote
"Foxy By Proxy" with Bugs Bunny and the Dopey Hunting Dog
Notes: This episode was skipped during the 1993-4 season's September-to-March initial run. "Baton Bunny" and "Pizzicato
Pussycat" involve concert performances, and Chopin's Minute Waltz is played on piano by the mouse in "Pizzicato Pussycat"
and by Bugs in "Hyde and Hare".

"Hare We Go" with Bugs Bunny and Chris Columbus
"Homeless Hare" with Bugs Bunny and the Construction Worker
Note: For the first time in ten seasons, "Kit For Cat" was shown on The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show, positioned within an
episode that contained some of the most frequently aired cartoons on ABC!
Season 10, Show # 16 (Dec. 23, 1995)
PART ONE
"Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol" with Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Porky Pig, Tweety, Sylvester, Pepe Le Pew, Elmer Fudd, and

PART TWO
"Fright Before Christmas" with Bugs Bunny and Tasmanian Devil
"French Rarebit" with Bugs Bunny and the Two French Chefs
"Rabbitson Crusoe" with Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, and Dopey Dick
Note: This Bugs Bunny & Tweety installment had only 6 cartoons within one hour's airtime, a portent of what was to come
in the autumn of 1996.
Season 11, Show # 5 (Oct. 5, 1996)
PART ONE
"Baton Bunny" with Bugs Bunny and the Bothersome Fly
"Mouse and Garden" with Sylvester and Sam the Goony Cat

Tweety, Sylvester, Pepe Le Pew, Elmer Fudd, and Foghorn Leghorn
"For Scent-imental Reasons" with Pepe Le Pew
"Holiday For Drumsticks" with Daffy Duck and Tom Turk
Note: "Sandy Claws" was in this Christmas episode probably because of its title's humorous play on the name, Santy Claus.
Although "Holiday For Drumsticks" is about hillbillies desiring turkey dinner for Thanksgiving, turkey is commonly a
Christmas feast too. "Jingle Bells" is played in combination with the appearance of Wile E. Coyote's icicle-making machine
in "Zoom at the Top".
Season 11, Show # 21 (Jan. 25, 1997)
PART ONE
